LED slit lamp

BL-99T

Three-step Galilean optics, LED illumination, and integrated diagnostic filters for focused clinical examination.

BOLAN BL-99T LED slit lamp in blue-gray finish

Three magnification steps

A focused range for everyday examination.

The BL-99T brings together a three-step Galilean binocular stereo microscope, LED illumination, and a built-in diagnostic filter set. Its 10×, 16×, and 25× magnifications concentrate the optical range around the views used for routine clinical examination, without adding an integrated imaging system.

Three magnifications, clearly defined

The rotating magnification control moves between 10×, 16×, and 25×. This three-step range gives the clinician a direct progression from general observation to closer inspection while keeping magnification selection simple and predictable.

A 12.5× eyepiece completes the Galilean binocular stereo optical system for a natural, two-eye examination view.

LED illumination with continuous slit control

The LED illumination system provides a bright examination beam without the routine lamp changes associated with conventional bulbs. Slit width adjusts continuously from 0 to 14 mm, allowing the beam to move from a fine section to broad illumination as the examination requires.

The illumination controls remain grouped around the tower so beam adjustments can be made while maintaining a clear view through the microscope.

Diagnostic filters built into the instrument

The BL-99T includes heat-absorption, neutral-density, red-free, cobalt-blue, and built-in yellow filters for changing the viewing condition at the illumination system.

Yellow barrier
Used with cobalt-blue illumination, the yellow barrier filter increases the visible contrast of fluorescein staining.
Cobalt blue
Cobalt-blue illumination supports fluorescein-based examination of the corneal surface and contact lens fit.
Neutral density
The neutral-density filter reduces illumination intensity while preserving the color balance of the observed field.
Red-free
Red-free viewing increases the contrast between vascular structures and the surrounding tissue.

The integrated filter set keeps these viewing options available without adding a separate accessory to the examination workflow.

Direct control from alignment to observation

The joystick, sliding base, chin rest, and illumination controls are arranged around a conventional clinical workflow. The clinician can align the patient, position the optical system, select a magnification, and shape the slit from one coherent instrument platform.

Its three-step configuration keeps the control sequence concise for practices whose work centers on the middle of the BL-99 family’s magnification range.

Optical examination without an imaging layer

The BL-99T is configured for direct binocular observation rather than built-in photography or video. Its defined magnification range, LED source, and diagnostic filters keep the instrument centered on the essential optical examination.
